Karen especially has a heart for those who are dealing with relationship struggles. She understands that sometimes life does not turn out the way we envisioned or planned.

Relationships can leave us feeling confused, alone, misunderstood, and hurt. Making sense of experiences and the emotions that accompany them can be difficult to navigate through. Sometimes we feel stuck and do not know which way to go, or we can create habits and behaviors that are not how we truly want to live. Karen creates an environment to explore and process these experiences.

Karen’s scope of practice also includes trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, and religious/spiritual challenges.

  • Conner Cochran is the Founder and Co-owner of Greenville Mercy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and serves in a dual role as both the practice administrator and a counselor.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mississippi University for Women, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Erskine College.

Conner is a warm and supportive, client-centered counselor who is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. She believes that meaningful change begins by slowing down—taking time to explore your story and gain clarity about what’s happening beneath the surface.

She works with adults, both individuals and couples, navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people she works with feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, and are seeking greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

In session, she brings a steady and compassionate presence—listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients connect their experiences with the emotions underneath them. Her client-centered approach allows each person’s story to guide the work, while also creating space to process emotions, increase self-awareness, and identify patterns that may be shaping their relationships and decisions.

While her work is grounded in counseling, Conner also integrates tools like the Enneagram when helpful, offering additional insight into personality, motivations, and relational dynamics. This can support clients in deepening their self-awareness and engaging their relationships more intentionally.

At the heart of her work is a desire to see people experience real growth and restoration—moving toward a life marked by greater clarity, connection, and hope.
